You can learn a great deal about a person by observing their actions. Some people like their actions to be highly visible, I don’t think I fit in that category.

I will share a few of my passions with you and you can judge from there. First I truly enjoy a good cup of coffee, any time of the day. Some would say that I have’t meet a bad cup yet. Second, I am, as my daughter observed, an ameature professional photographer. Visit my web sites to see some of my pictures. Then there is mission work. This is my latest attempt at developing a personal/family web site. It is at least the fourth that I can think of. This time I have decided to build the site using WordPress. Therefore it is more of a blog than previous versions. I would also like to point out that I have a personal blog “Thoughts by Mike” (http://mthurmond.wordpress.com/) at the WordPress site. I am hoping that this iste will have a more personal touch. But as the old saying goes the shoe makers children have o shoes. So it going to take some time for this web site to evolve into a personal site.

I am also going to move my past posts from the current blog to this web site. This will also take some time. Mean while you can use the link above and here to view the old posts at Thoughts by Mike.
